Contact People:  Katie Richmond (krichmond@greatfallslibrary.org  ) lives in Montana, where she has been adopted by a chicken, a cat, and several rabbits and squirrels. She expresses her creativity through poetry and paintings, but her highest goal is to be known as East Missoula’s “weird art yard lady.”

Originally from Indiana, Mara earned a BA in Creative Writing and English from Purdue University. After undergrad she headed west to live in the mountains and never looked back. She landed in Missoula where she completed post-graduate studies at the University of Montana. Her written work has been published in various literary journals and anthologies.

Mara is the owner of the legendary Fact & Fiction Books in downtown Missoula where she surrounds herself with booksellers no less quirky than the critters she has gathered to her at home.

Amy Thompson is a writer from Missoula, MT. She writes songs, poetry, and a forth-coming memoir that just won’t quit. She spends her time dodging bears, and editing the story she was trying to tell, for the story she’s meant to. She’s been picking a banjo lately too. If she met you, she’d probably like you.

Emily Walter:
Emily Walter lives, writes and teaches in Missoula, Montana. Originally from Northern Michigan, Emily’s nonfiction and poetry can be found in High Country News, 32 Poems, Blue Earth Review and others.
Elke Govertsen

She founded Mamalode Magazine, has been an executive in a startup, and works as a consultant helping brands and people tell stories, nurture communities and turn amazing ideas into joyous execution.
