9/11 Memorial Service

Great Falls Fire Rescue 9/11 Ceremony Order of Operations

• 0715

• Participants arrive, 0715-0730

• Begin apparatus placement

• 0740

• All apparatus in place

• All particpants,(GFFR,MANG,MALM,Rural FD’S,GFES) assemble around stage area, guidance provided on site.

• Class A uniforms recommended with badge shrouds or badge shirts if you do not have Class A uniforms. 

• 0745

• Welcome, open ceremony by Assistant Chief Bob Shupe from GFFR

• 0754

• Presentation of colors by GFPD color guard ( 1 min in and 1 out. OTTO)

• National Anthem performed by Alexander Temple Voices of Praise ( Antonio Hicks) 

• 0758

• Flag Lowering Ceremony using Ladder 3 ( Zietzke)

• 0759-  Time of South Tower Collapse

• Bell Ceremony ( AC Shupe and SFF Carter Marsh/GFFR)

• NOTE: After reading about bell ceremony, color guard detail officer will order, RESPONDERS to ATTENTION,  RESPONDERS PRESENT ARMS, everyone salutes and holds, After bell is rang 3 times for 3 cycles,detail officer orders RESPONDERS ORDER ARMS, you drop your salute

• 1 Minute of complete silence in remembrance.

• Amazing Grace on the Bagpipes performed by Jesse Calendar

• Recite the Firefighter’s Prayer

• Invocation by Deputy Chief of Training Shane Klippenes
